Slitter Merger ST 2314
Equipment for longitudinal continuous forms cutting and overlapping |
The equipment Slitter Merger ST 2314 performs the operation of longitudinal cutting and overlapping continuous forms, coming from pleated piles or coils. The paper is pulled from tractors and the cut is performed by a circular knife.
A form alignment and overlapping device is coupled to the transversal cutter.
On the manual operation mode, the form traction and cutting speed is constant and must be adjusted by the operator.
On the automatic operation mode, the form traction and cutting speed is variable and adjusted automatically from sensors, according to the other equipment connected to the Slitter Merger ST 2314.
For operation in printing lines and online finishing, the Slitter Merger ST 2314 has optical sensors that help to synchronize the paper flow between the printer and the cutter and control the paper’s loop, to compensate the lack or excess of form traction. |
